Electrolytic manganese metal, also known as electrolytic manganese, is a high-purity product obtained by electrolyzing a solution of manganese sulfate. It is a silver-gray metal with a melting point of 1244°C and a boiling point of 1962°C.

Uses:
1. As an alloying agent in steel and non-ferrous alloys, to improve the strength, toughness, and corrosion resistance of the alloys.
2. In the production of batteries, such as dry cell and alkaline batteries.
3. In the production of welding rods, as a deoxidizer and desulfurizer.
4. In the production of electronic components, such as resistors and capacitors.
5. In the production of fertilizers and animal feed, as a trace element.
